One thing I will live by is alway having a assortment of blazers in my closet. The essence of a blazer can make any outfit have that chic/ professional look. Blazer have come in so many different kind of tailoring and fits for a woman at this point in time. Some blazers look great fitted, short or even oversized.
- Oversized Blazer
I personally have been a fan of oversized blazers for quite some time now. It has a way of making very casual outfits look so much more well put together along with the comfort of a jacket. This Zara Linen blazer was one of my favorite finds as it was on sale and the color alone is so neutral to mix with my wardrobe. An instant staple to a all dark outfit, a way to prep up some jeans and just a cute mix even with dresses. I styled this blazer with jean shorts or even a dress like below.

Top: Aritzia Top
Shorts: Levi’s 501 Shorts

Some oversized blazers are big enough to look so cute as a dress itself with a cute belt over the waist, some high boots and amazing accessories. Below are some inspo from Pinterest 🙂

- Padded Shoulders
The 80’s and 90’s really brought the start of padded shoulders and although it may come and go in some style of trends, a blazer with padded shoulders is definitely a must in your closet. It can give an overall feel of oversize but still be more on the tailored end for the body. This gorgeous Jill Sander blazer was thrifted by my best friend and fits me beyond great. I love draping this blazer over my shoulders with tops that are sleeveless as it gives me a strong shoulder look with still a soft tailored body.

- The Tailored Blazer
Every single closet needs a stable tailored blazer. This is one for every single outfit that goes super well dressed up or down. I love this grey plaid striped blazer I got from H & M almost 6 years ago because of the multiple ways I can style it. Some days im feeling like wearing jeans and boots and throw this blazer on and it just makes my entire fit feel put together. Other days I add some Jordans when I have to run around the warehouse at work. Makes me feel professional but chic with fashion.
