Body Changes

Wanted to touch on a little topic I have had trouble most of my life with – digestion and bloating. As a child, my mom had always taken me to medical doctors as going to the restroom was more of an every few days vs daily thing. As I got older, age of the internet and wanting to take the responsibility of my own food was my next goal. I started working out at the gym 2-4x a week, meal prep ands being diligent on my rest. The bloating did minimized as I adjusted my food consumption, but then my skin began to flare with cystic acne. Here comes food allergies LOL

By 24, I figured out I was lactose intolerant and bread was a culprit of my acne. I began with eliminating certain things off my diet and seeing how my body reacts once incorporated (lengthy 2-3 month process). Yes that means no deserts for me and bland eating 😦

We finally got to a good place till thee pandemic hit. Let’s just skip over that whole two yrs as it was clearly havoc all over. In 2021- I moved to Miami and again was still struggling with bloating, my skin breaking out often although I continued to maintain the gym and my eating habits. I couldn’t understand, my skin care routine was elite but- I have been here before, I told myself let me start from the inside…

2021

I did notice I was not consuming as much greens as I use to on work days and stopped by my local CVS and found what became my HOLY GRAIL. Let me add- this is not Sponsored, but Amazing Grass, if you want to holla please slide in my emails 😉

2022

As you can see a full 180-not only do I feel like my body is not bloating more, I don’t feel as uncomfortable, my skin is doing amazing and never get a major breakout anymore! I wake up full of energy as well (no pre-workouts here) and on to tackle the day. Also a self reminder to stop wearing so much black haha.
